I was in the audience as Beyonce performed onstage at the 2009 BET Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday night in Los Angeles and let me tell you she worked it out! Even though I would have loved to see her do a more upbeat performance, her rendition of “Ava Maria’ was divine.
