It was the first national convention of gay and lesbian organizations in the US, and its name would later be changed to the North American Conference of Homophile Organizations.1972 John Wojtowicz and Sal Naturale attempt to rob the Chase Manhattan Bank in Brooklyn to get money for Wojtowicz's lover's sex change operation.
