The role earned him a Best Actor nomination yesterday from the Independent British Film Awards. Nowhere Boy is also nominated for Best Picture.It's Liverpool 1957, and the 15-year old Lennon is keen to start a rock-n-roll band. Nowhere Man opens at Christmas in the UK.
