Maureen Boylan and Peter Wolfgang are on opposite sides of the same-sex marriage debate. Boylan, a Stamford resident, entered into a civil union with her partner, Barbara LeCornec, when that became legal in 2005. She said she looks forward to a time when they can be married under Connecticut law. Wolfgang heads the Family Institute of Connecticut, which opposed civil unions and wants to keep Connecticut from legalizing gay marriage. But Boylan and Wolfgang agree on one thing - the California Supreme Court's May ruling to legalize same-sex marriage is a strong indicator that Connecticut's high court will issue a similar decision.
