BERKELEY, CA --- This month, the Attorney General's office of New Jersey announced a settlement with the online matchmaking service eHarmony. The settlement came after Eric McKinley of Monmouth County, NJ, filed a suit claiming that eHarmony violated the state's Law Against Discrimination because it did not offer matchmaking service for gays and lesbians. According to the settlement, eHarmony will launch an affiliate site, Compatible Partners, for gays and lesbians.
