Senator Franken is also on the record in support of marriage equality as well as a whole host of LGBTI issues. While it is unlikely that a repeal of DOMA is going to happen any time immediately, DADT should be going before the Senate sometime this August or September, and it will be nice to have him there to support its repeal.
