My friend Penny is posting pictures about her adventures as a Flat Stanley caretaker. Her photos brought back a flood of memories. Many I'm not proud of. *Hangs Head.*For those of you who don't have a Flat Stanley clue...Flat Stanley is a paper boy (or girl), created by elementary students nationwide. The school assignment is to send Flat Stanley, along with a journal, off to visit a friend or a family member for a few days. Creative "hosts" send Flat Stanley back to the student with pictures, souvenirs, stories and reminders of the visit.Penny owns a Dragon Boat Racing company, so her Flat Stanley is all prepared to tear it up on the water. My friend Christine is amazing. She has a spirit that puts my soul at ease, a cadence to her life that draws people to her.
Oy. Has it been more than a week?!Somewhere in between work, deciding to paint our bedroom in two days (hi cathedral ceilings), planning a kick-ass cabin trip for 20 crazy women over the Halloween weekend, preparing to receive new bedroom furniture, drinking copious amounts of Diet Coke and packing to head to Atlanta (again), the week totally got away from me.
At first glance, these may just LOOK like Diet Coke screw tops, but they aren't.
Oh this one is good, ya'll.Just got off the phone with Apes. She was telling me about the monster softball game she played tonight.
My good pal Mike S just sent me an email...seems he's having trouble commenting on my blog.Anyone else having an issue? Email me at wishfulwriterblog@yahoo.
My morning started off with a forehead burn.I am now a firm believer that if you haven't used a curling iron in more than a year, you should be required to attend safety classes and wear goggles.
Tonight's "good night, we miss you picture" from Apes and the critters.
I'm in Atlanta and running 'round for work.Looks like we're gonna get drenched tomorrow - two inches of rain.
It's that time of year again....Hello, Belvedere Plantation Pumpkin Patch! This year we acted the fool with our friends Karolyn and Lauren.
..Only Apes can have this much fun shopping for groceries...
Just call her Web Slinger, protector of produce.
