On September 25, The Lymphonades will be walking to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Why? Because they bailed me out of some medical expenses when I most needed it, so I would like to help others get the same great benefits I did.
The fun thing? We all get to carry illuminated balloons during the twilight hours in Denver’s beautiful Washington Park. I will carry a white one as I am a survivor. Red signifies supporters and gold in memory of ones lost in the battle. Crap, I’m getting all teary-eyed right now.
