I'm stealing this from Sticky Crows because I haven't had a chance to distill a few things into a full blown post, and the few odds and ends floating in my head keep floating out every time I try to write them down into an "Odds and Ends" post.I have a strange relationship with food. I may have mentioned this before, but my sister put it best when she told my mom once that "Most people live to eat. David eats to live." And in many ways this is true. While there certainly are foods I enjoy eating, I don't go out of my way to eat them. I eat what is present in the house, convenient to grab on the run (as long as it meets an extensive list of criteria I have), or that meets my standards for proper dietary health. Full story...

I had a pretty good weekend, mostly because I didn't spend the entire time dashing from one thing to the next.
With all the frenzy of the election, I never got around to posting about the rest of my October trip to DC.
I just learned about yet another pointless yet entertaining blog analyzing tool. So of course I had to try it.

Sorry, I've been AWOL for a bit too long, at least as far as I'm concerned. I didn't have a chance for a Friday post, then I was out of town all weekend, through Monday.
