Someone in a Tree Oct 07 08I had mentioned in my earlier post that the yoga retreat I attended was held at a Zen center in New Mexico.As we were their guests, we were required to abide by certain rules, a few of them relating to the dining hall. The first night that we arrived, when we sat down for the first meal, we were asked to take a package wrapped in cloth, along with a plastic glass. The glass and an additional piece of fabric on top of the package each had a strip of masking tape on them. We were given a sharpie marker and asked to write our name on each of the two strips.Having done that, we were then told to unwrap the fabric package, where upon we found a table setting that was to be ours for the duration of the retreat.
