In the last few weeks I've gotten a bunch of new things. One of the nicest parts of this has been that not one of these things has cost me any money outright.
OK, guess I might as well join the parade of blogs listing all the previous jobs they've had. It's been a long week and I'm a bit burnt out.
I had a fabulous theatrical evening last night. I met up with Josh (yes, I can hear you all rolling your eyes and groaning "not again" and you can just shove it) to see the current revival of Finian's Rainbow, which is wowing the crowds on Broadway.
I just bought a new phone.Well, not really, I got a free upgrade to a newer phone that will be easier for me to use for texting purposes since no one seems to talk on the phone anymore.
Friday evening came racing out of the block with an event at my synagogue that I was co-chairing. We have monthly dinners for young adults in their 20's and 30's.
I got my AT&T cell phone bill yesterday and I noticed it was a little higher than usual. I have always prided myself (or bragged - depends on your perspective I guess) regarding the fact that I only pay for a basic phone plan and have never gone over the limit of my meager allotment of minutes.
How much did I love this movie?I was hoping that I would like the movie, because I, like many adults, have a nostalgia for the original book.
I alluded in a previous post to a post-performance Halloween party I attended on 10/31. Since I had two shows that day, and would be in a costume of sorts for nearly six hours already, I didn't feel compelled to continue the trend and made no effort to come up with a costume idea for the party.
Let the justice system of Brooklyn tremble! For I have been selected for a jury case.Oh yes, despite the fake nose and glasses, despite randomly shouting out "P!nk!" throughout the proceedings, despite bouncing in my chair and humming loudly whenever anyone else was talking, and despite my demands that the jury room contain a person gym and a hot tub, I was picked to serve on a case that convenes in a few weeks.
The show has been going very well and from Wednesday until we close on Saturday, all the performances have been or are already sold-out.
