::: Wisconsinâs Supreme Court today declined refused to hear a constitutional challenge to the state's new domestic partnership law for same-sex couples, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The law took effect in August. It allows gay and lesbian couples to register with counties so they can get about 40 of the 150 rights afforded married couples, including hospital visitation rights. Wisconsin Family Action (WFA) argued in its suit that the law violated the state's constitutional ban on marriage equality. The court rejected the case without comment.
