WFAA TV in Dallas/Fort Worth has obtained police records that indicate the bar check executed at Fort Worth’s Rainbow Lounge on the weekend of June 28 might not have been the “routine bar inspection” that it was originally described to be by Fort Worth’s police chief.
The records suggest that Rainbow Lounge might have been targeted for the weekend inspection because Fort Worth police stopped an “extremely intoxicated” man near the bar on the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the raid:
