Qnews Oct 23 08Source: San Francisco Chronicle , Wall Street Journal , Los Angeles Times CA Prop. 8 A majority of California voters oppose Proposition 8, a ballot initiative that would ban same-sex marriage in the state, but a new statewide poll shows that the gap has narrowed in the past month. According to the Oct. 22 poll by the Public Policy Institute of California, 52% of likely voters surveyed were opposed to Proposition 8 while 44% supported it. By comparison, 55% were opposed and 41% were in favor when the San Francisco-based institute conducted its last poll on the issue in September. The latest results. Full story...
