Wednesday I made my way through 200+ emails and found this one from my Charlie. No words, just this photo- gawds, but I do love him so...
And today? This message to all supporters on Facebook:
"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."
We are NOT done- not by a long shot. We will not be deterred; we will not lose our resolve- we will not give up.

By now we have all heard about the Manhattan Declaration put out by various religious right figures and groups urging, among other things, non-cooperation with laws that in any way recognize same sex couples.
The 2008 campaign was great for armchair psychologists as we saw a good slice of color-aroused America that had been hiding its true feelings about the prospect of the country being led by a man of color.
Regulars at the coffeehouse know that I'm burned out, fried and literally fighting all sorts of health BS of late, from the inevitable inability to balance the demands of my day job (hey, at least I have one to be thankful for), writing for the blog, along with travel to blog-related events, interviews and such.
