Registered voter? Washington voters should have received their ballots by now in the mail.  If you haven't received yours yet, contact your county auditor/elections department.

Not a registered voter? If you're not registered to vote in WA and have never been registered to vote in WA, you can still register and vote to APPROVE Referendum 71!  Monday, October 26th is the last day for newbie Washignton voters to register.  Because this is late registration, you'll have to appear in person at your county auditor/elections department.  Registration requirements: To register to vote in the state of Washington, you must be:

* A citizen of the United States * A legal resident of Washington state * At least 18 years old by election day * Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections

In the state of Washington, you do not have to register by political party or declare political party membership to vote in the state's regular primaries or general elections. Full story...
