I've been talking to my transgender peers these past few weeks, attempting to fully determine who the out, transgender delegates to the Democratic National Convention are going to be.
If one tries to figure out who's transgender from the official DNC demographic information, it's a little difficult to do. This is because the states and territories are identifying to the DNC which delegates self-identify themselves as LGBT, but the DNC itself isn't gathering information regarding which LGBT subcommunity the individual LGBT delegates identify to.

The GOP honchos look like they may be ceding Wisconsin to Obama with this news:
The Republican National Committee hasn't booked ads for the next week in Wisconsin TV markets after running a series of spots attacking Barack Obama and congressional Dems, according to TV sources.
The Alaska Independence Party (AIP), founded by a domestic terrorist, was the subject of a CNN segment on Tuesday.

Holy smoke, the downward spiral of anti-Obama sentiment fomented by McCain/Palin is spilling out into one-on-one harassment.

So, tonight is the last of three debates between the 2008 presidential candidates. What can American's expect from John McCain and Barack Obama tonight and as they move into the final weeks of the campaign?
Honestly, Americans should not expect much.
On Monday I attended the regular meeting of the Gay-Straight-Alliance at Chapel Hill High School and it was a wonderful experience, being surrounded by so many self-aware, talented and insightful young people who were willing to share with me what life is like for them as LGBTs and allies in 2008.
I know, I keep saying how you just can't make this stuff up, but here we go again...
Homobigot GOP Congressman Virgil Goode of Virginia, a man who scored a "perfect" HRC scorecard zero every year since 2001, is the subject of an investigation by Mike Stark of Accountability Moments and Mike Rogers of BlogActive.
