Friday night, Detroit's Salem played to a packed Lee's Palace in Toronto at DJ Will Munro's celebrated queer party Vazoween. They played a solid set of their noisy industrial tunes shrouded onstage by smoke and lasers. All lending hands to keyboards, they each had a vocal style different from one another. John Holland brooded in a low register, Jack Donaghue demon rapped, while Heather Marlett gave an ethereal touch.
Toronto came dressed for the occasion, which also included the always entertaining 'Bobbing for Butt-Plugs" and the "Prize for the Best Costume".
