Lesbiatopia Aug 22 08Hallmark, largest greeting card company in the United States, announced this week that it will be offering up some same-sex wedding cards, but not with out some accompanying controversy…. Because today, the right-wing American Family Association (AFA), best known for its boycotts of McDonalds for supporting the development of gay owned small businesses and Proctor & Gamble because it advertised on the TV shows "Will and Grace" and "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" announced a protest of Hallmark as a reaction to that decision.The cards, to be released beginning this summer, will be widely available by next year and feature two tuxedos, overlapping hearts or intertwined flowers on the outside, but will make no mention of gay weddings or marriage on the inside.
