*THIS POST IS BEING MADE BY GUEST-BLOGGER, FRANK ANTHONY POLITO Over on AfterElton, Lyle Masaki has posted a column about gay-themed TV shows he'd like to see on DVD. #1 on his list is the Showtime sitcom (circa 1984) Brothers, which starred Paul Regina as gay brother, Cliff Waters, and featured Phillip Charles MacKenzie as the ever-flaming Donald. I was in junior high when this ground-breaking series first aired, and, believe it or not, I used to watch the show with my then-6-year-old brother, Shawn... Who knew we would one day grow up to find ourselves in a similar situation as Cliff, Joe (Robert Walden), and Lou (Brandon Maggart)? (I think I did!) You can watch snippets from the show via a list of links to YouTube here, and sign a petititon to bring the series to DVD. Full story...
