Michael and I saw the lovably misanthropic Aimee Mann in concert last night at Highline Ballroom (a great venue I'd never been to before, btw). I always get a kick out of it when people you admire behave exactly as you would expect (dare I say caricaturesque?), and from the moment she set foot on stage and opened with the audience-unfriendly "Stranger Into Starman" (from her new album, "Fucking Smilers"), you knew what you were going to get: 90 minutes of unadulterated cynical Aimee Mann, and all the glory that goes along with it (they'd been on "The View" earlier in the morning and Aimee had a lot to say about those people!). Model David Gandy looking as good as he (probably) smells at the launch of ZIRH's new men's fragrance IKON at Bloomingdale's in Manhattan.
Talk about your friendly skies. The N.Y. Post is reporting that a male JetBlue flight attendant was arrested last week for "indecent exposure" and "making a lewd proposal" after admitting he showered passenger Gina Rousset with dirty talk and explicit photos -- insisting he wanted to give her "some chocolate love," authorities said.
I could have sworn I saw Tonya Harding playing Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland last month. The only thing missing was Nancy Kerrigan and her pool of tears .
Spanish footballer Xabi Alonso -- who plays for Liverpool -- looks awfully cute here, signing copies of "Fifa 09" video game .
It's October again, and with the change of seasons also comes everybody's favorite "holigay" -- National Coming Out Day.
Not exactly Fox's "O.C."
Like my hometown of Madison Heights, Mich., isn't famous enough with notable former residents like the artist Robert Wyland(?) and the NHL star Pat Peake(?).
