Gay media's "Citizen Hearst" details multimedia plans Here TV co-founder Paul Colichman, who has been dubbed the "gay Citizen Hearst" by filmmaker John Waters, outlines his ambitious plans to build a gay media empire with his pay TV company, GayWired.com Web site and new acquisitions, including the Advocate and Out magazines. "People say, 'Why would you buy a print publication when you're really in the television business?' " Colichman said.
