Recorded using The Korg 700S (built way back in 1974 and used by Daniel Miller to make ‘Warm Leatherette’), the sexy Rexy’s use retro instrumentation to create current material that stands proud alongside it’s clubbing colleagues. A little house, a little rave and a whole lotta pop, ‘I can see you…’ has an early 80s synth sound not unlike pre-rock Depeche Mode or Yazoo. A serious male voice more speaks than sings the lyrics, supporting the animations and graphics of this total package act (they also do live shows and guest remixes). Full story...
