Somewhere amidst flipping between the season premiere of America's Next Top Model and the new episode of Project Runway, I stomached my way through what I could of the Republican National Convention.
Earlier today I published a post about Sarah Palin that a few folks thought was sexist. After re-reading what I'd written, I changed the reference and put a note in the comments section that I'd flesh out my thoughts more in a separate post.
There's been a bit of hand-wringing in the LGBT blogosphere about the absolutely tortured logic in the Log Cabin Republicans' endorsement of McCain and Palin.
Every time my email buzzes- and it's been buzzing all day pretty much non-stop- it's another piece of news about the Republican party.

Here is my new theory. I believe the GOP NeoCons, like Rove, are working to make the best out of a bad situation.
I actually got this email through the email address associated with my personal blog, and I can't stop laughing:

I'm in a quandary about limits.
I have a colleague whose teen son is acknowledged by his school friends to be gay.
This morning I had one of those ah-ha moments that leaves you slightly ill and trembling as you confront a reality of which you were aware but had somehow managed to avoid.
Bil and I have already gotten a few emails about this one. This post is all after the jump, and, no, I don't think HRC's about to commit political suicide.
