In August, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission granted Edmonton-based Real Productions approval to create Canada’s first all-adult video channel. The digital cable channel promises Canadian-made pornography.
Shaun Donnelly, president of Real Productions, said, “There are a number of adult company centres (in Vancouver), and we’ve been contacted by quite a few of them offering their services to produce content and supply existing content that’s been filmed there.”
Donnelly promised that 50 percent of Northern Peaks’ content will be Canadian, well above the normal 15 percent Canadian content expected for most of the country's new channels. Full story...
